Before attending the University of Tokyo, I studied electric engineering at the Nagano National College of Technology.
From 1997 to 2005, I was engaged in various computerized-system and business-model innovation designs at Hewlett-Packard Japan, Ltd. and at Sony Global Solutions, Inc.
From 2006 to 2011, I worked for the Ashida & Kimura Patent Attorneys’Office and the Wakabayashi Patent Agency, specializing in the fields of electricity and computer science.
In 2012, I qualified as a patent attorney (Registration Number: 18048). I am now a member of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association.
My working languages are Japanese and English.
Having majored in electricity and information-communication technology at university, and by my experience in working as a system designer for global corporations, I am able to understand the cutting-edge technology of a client’s invention and contribute to the safe-guarding of his intellectual property in the preparation of patent specifications of his invention, in filing the required patent applications, and in prosecuting the acquisition of the patent rights to his invention.
I believe that I am able to offer the best solution and plan to protect a client’s intellectual property.
